Every Friday night, something special happens at 794 Hay Street, Wolf Lane, Perth CBD. What started as a weekly gathering has grown into Perth's most talked-about African cultural event.
The music starts early. By 9pm, Wolf Lane is alive — Afrobeats, Afropop, Highlife, Amapiano drifting out of My Place Bar into the laneway. People from every African nation in Perth find themselves here, alongside Australians and internationals who have fallen in love with the culture.
